    • Lead pipeline engineering in the design, manufacturing, testing, transport, installation and commissioning of the subsea pipeline offshore Trinidad
    • Reviewed and accepted all contractor design documents for the design, manufacturing, testing, installation and commissioning of the 8in, 17km long subsea pipeline, including interfacing with contractors for line pipe manufacture, detailed engineering and pipeline installation

    • Successfully completed the project on time and within budget.
    • Achieved optimal route selection, minimizing environmental impact.
    • Ensured safe and efficient operation of the pipeline system.
  • Location: Trinidad and Tobago
  • Scope:
    • Completed pipeline engineering technical review on new pipeline installation, on behalf of Trinidad & Tobago Ministry of Energy Certification Verification Authority
  • Outcome:
    • Successfully completed the project review on time and within budget, to allow government approval for startup of new pipeline.

2. Subsea Pipeline Integrity Management

  • Location: Trinidad and Tobago
  • Scope:
    • Developed and implemented a comprehensive pipeline integrity management system.
    • Planned and managed execution for various subsea campaigns, including new pipeline installation and commissioning, ROV and AUV inspections, subsea NDE and other minor IMR activities
    • Provided real-time data analysis and recommendations for maintenance and repairs.
  • Outcome:
    • Enhanced the structural integrity and reliability of the subsea pipeline network.
    • Reduced downtime and maintenance costs through proactive management.

3. Corrosion Assessment and Mitigation

  • Location: Trinidad and Tobago
  • Scope:
    • Performed a detailed corrosion risk assessment for a 600km pipeline network.
    • Designed and implemented cathodic protection systems and applied protective coatings.
    • Monitored and adjusted corrosion prevention measures.
  • Outcome:
    • Extended the lifespan of the gas pipeline by mitigating corrosion risks.
    • Ensured continuous and safe operation with minimal disruptions.

  • Location: Trinidad and Tobago
  • Scope:
    • Completed technical study on offshore condensate export pipeline, including multiphase modelling, corrosion study, prediction of high-risk corrosion areas, proposal of recommendations for subsea targeted inspection locations and evaluation of suitable NDE tooling for subsea targeted inspections
    • Developed methodology for Structural Reliability Analysis of the pipeline, using targeted inspection data and carried out preliminary Structural Reliability assessment of the pipeline by application of developed methodology to provide an integrity assessment of the pipeline

    • Client was provided with detailed engineering assessments and plan for optimized work to reduce operating risk of pipeline

4. Flow Assurance for Onshore and Offshore Pipelines

  • Location: Trinidad and Tobago
  • Scope:
    • Conducted flow simulation and analysis for multiphase pipelines.
    • Developed strategies for liquid holdup management and pipeline pigging.
    • Implemented multiphase flow management solutions.
  • Outcome:
    • Optimized flow rates and minimized pressure drops in the pipeline system.
    • Effectively managed pigging, hydrate and wax formation, ensuring continuous flow.

    • Completed pipeline engineering technical review on appraisal stage plan to highlight optimizations in field development concept

7. Pipeline Pigging

Location: Trinidad and Tobago

  • Scope:
    • Resolved pigging issues to return subsea pipelines to piggable status and developed pigging plan for maintenance and inspection pigging.

    • Operating risk reduced by proving integrity of pipeline network.

8. Pipeline Operations Engineering Support

Location: United Kingdom

  • Scope:
    • Completed pipeline engineering technical review of RBI scheme and inspection data for existing pipeline to provide risk/integrity-based recommendations on deferral of upcoming subsea inspections
    • Developed Pipeline Integrity Management strategy for pipeline network.
